The Skyline Story: Built on Trust, Hustle, and Heart
When Eric Reyes launched Skyline Stone Products in 2008, he wasn’t chasing a business dream; he was solving a problem.
“I’d spent years working for one of the biggest distributors in the industry,” he recalls. “But I wanted more control over how my customers were treated. If I said I was going to get them something, I wanted to make sure they actually got it.”
That simple promise, reliability, became Skyline’s foundation. In the early days, Reyes loaded his 4Runner with inventory, made deliveries himself, and stocked tools and sinks in a rented storage unit and his own garage. “It was a lot of work,” he admits. “But I focused on my core customers and made sure they always had what they needed, when they needed it.”
Nearly two decades later, Skyline has evolved from a one-man operation into one of Southwest Florida’s most respected names in the stone tooling and sink distribution industry. The company now serves a loyal customer base stretching across the U.S., Central America, and the Caribbean, many of whom have been with Skyline since the very beginning. “Some of those early customers are still with us today,” Reyes says. “They’ve become friends. That kind of loyalty means everything.”
He credits much of Skyline’s current success to the team surrounding him. “I’m incredibly proud of our staff,” he says. “Most of them came straight from the industry. They understand our customers because they’ve been in their shoes. They’re knowledgeable, competitive, and ambitious, but more than anything, they care.”
Reyes’ pride in his company is unmistakable. “I’ve been doing this a long time,” he says, “and I’m proud of what we’ve built. Fabricators in our area rely on Skyline because they know we’re going to take care of them. That’s what keeps me going.”
From those early days of late-night deliveries to its modern presence as a trusted regional leader, Skyline Stone Products has grown on the strength of one man’s word and the team that now stands behind it.
