TENAX HYDREX 5LT SEALER

Tenax Hydrex Stone Sealer is a high-quality penetrating sealer formulated to protect stone surfaces by preventing liquids and stains from entering through the material’s micro-porous structure. It provides reliable water and oil resistance, making it ideal for use on granite, Carrara, Thassos, Trani, Botticino, Marfil, and other similar stones. The sealer is especially effective on polished granite and polished marble surfaces.

Hydrex allows the stone to breathe naturally, preserving its original characteristics without altering the color or appearance. Suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications, this sealer works within the surface of the material to provide long-lasting protection. One liter of Tenax Hydrex Stone Sealer covers approximately 215–323 square feet, depending on the porosity of the stone.

Instructions

This product must be evenly applied on a clean, dry surface. Spread Tenax Hydrex Stone Sealer evenly using a clean sponge or cloth. Apply until the surface no longer absorbs product. Immediately clean/buff with a clean dry cloth. Excess product may create a superficial glossy and sticky film so it is important to remove excess immediately after application. After waiting 10-15 minutes repeat the procedure. If used on floors wait 24 hours before walking on surface.

Shelf Life

This product will last at least 2 years if kept between 65° and 77°. Keep away from heat, humidity, and sunlight.

WARNING: Tenax Hydrex does not provide anti-etch protection on marble surfaces. Use of acidic substances such as wine, tomatoes, citrus, coffee, etc. will etch the surface by creating a chemical reaction with the calcium carbonate present in marbles. For etching problems use Tenax TeEtch.
